Terms of Use

VibeDeck is a real-time party app: a host controls the music through Apple Music, and guests join a party room to add tracks and vote on what plays next. These terms are the agreement between you and us for using it. By using VibeDeck — hosting a party, joining one as a guest, or opening the App Clip — you agree to them. If you don't, don't use the app.

01Who We Are

VibeDeck is operated by Flux and Form ("we," "us," or "our"). Questions about these terms, or anything you need to report, go to support@fluxandform.io.

02Who Can Use VibeDeck

You must be at least 13 years old to use VibeDeck. Hosting a party requires an active Apple Music subscription, which is your own account with Apple and governed by your agreement with them. Guests don't need an account of any kind.

03Content You Add — Zero Tolerance

VibeDeck lets you put things in front of other people: a nickname, a DJ name, a room code, and the tracks you queue. That makes it your responsibility.

We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behavior. By using VibeDeck you agree not to submit, queue, or display anything that is:

• Harassing, bullying, threatening, or targeted at a specific person.
• Hateful — attacking or demeaning anyone based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, or age.
• Sexually explicit, or sexualizing a minor in any way.
• Violent, or encouraging violence or self-harm.
• Illegal, or promoting illegal activity.
• Spam, impersonation of another person, or a deliberate attempt to mislead the room about who you are.

This applies to everything you can type or choose in the app, and to the tracks you queue — a song title is content you put in front of the room, even though the track itself comes from Apple Music.

04How We Enforce This

We enforce these rules three ways:

• We filter before it's shown. Nicknames, DJ names, and custom room codes are screened automatically and refused if they hit our blocklist. The check runs on our servers, so it can't be skipped.
• Anyone can report. In the app, press and hold a nickname or a queued track to report it, or use "Report This Room" in session settings to flag a party as a whole. Reports go to a real person. We review every report within 24 hours and remove content or eject users where these terms have been broken. You can also email us directly at support@fluxandform.io.
• Hosts moderate their own room. The host of a party can remove any guest from it. A removed guest cannot rejoin that party.

We may remove content, end a party, or block a device from the service at our discretion, with or without notice, when these terms are broken. We are not obligated to monitor every party, but we act on what is reported to us.

05Hosting a Party

If you host, you're responsible for your room: the name you give yourself, the code you choose, and the music that plays in the space you're in. You also control playback, so you decide what your guests hear. Use that reasonably.

06Purchases

VibeDeck offers a single optional one-time in-app purchase that unlocks premium features for a host. All payments are processed by Apple under their terms — we never see your payment details. Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us. The unlock is tied to your device and Apple ID as Apple provides it; if we refund or reverse a purchase, the associated features stop being available.

07Apple Music

Playback and catalog search are powered by Apple Music (MusicKit) and require the host's own Apple Music subscription. Your use of Apple Music through VibeDeck is governed by your agreement with Apple. We don't control the Apple Music catalog, its availability, or the metadata (including titles) it returns.

08Your Privacy

What we collect and why is covered in our Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms. One thing worth stating here: when you report something, we store a copy of the reported content so we can actually review it, along with the context needed to act on it.

09The App Is Provided As-Is

VibeDeck is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee that parties will be uninterrupted, that the service will be error-free, or that any particular track will be available. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

10Ending Your Use

You can stop using VibeDeck at any time. A host can delete their data from within the app, which erases their stored party history on our servers. We may suspend or end your access to the service if you break these terms.

11Changes To These Terms

We may update these terms as the app evolves. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect. Continuing to use VibeDeck after a change means you accept the updated terms.
